Grey is not an easy colour to work with. It quickly turns bland and boring and it doesn’t contrast well with anything! So instead, I’m going for a simple grimdark scheme with lots of grime to make the grey look good.
This is just one of the paint schemes in my Death Korps of Krieg army and it’s the first I’m showing here. My regular troops are grey, the elites are green, Gaunt’s Ghosts are blue, officers are black and tank and artillery crew are brown.
This way I can maintain my sanity while painting dozens of models that all look the same. If every week I do a new unit in a different colour it will get a whole lot less boring to paint.
