From the moment I saw the Krethusa miniature I knew I wanted to kitbash her into something Tzeentch like. And I finally had the time to do it.
She has now become a baby Lord of Change! This was a bit of a freestyle kitbash where I let my creativity flow and figure out what I am going to do as I go along. It’s a bit messy and ad-hoc, but I think in the end the result is good enough!
Parts used for this kitbash
The base of the mini is Krethusa, she is from the Daughters of Khaine from Age of Sigmar. A great miniature to work with, for Blood Angels conversions as well.
The arms are from the Exalted Sorcerers box for Thousand Sons. There are a lot more great Tzeentch and Thousand Sons bits in that box. Extra arms, great staffs that don’t look super high-tech, so they are great for Age of Sigmar as well. The puff of magical flame on the base is from this box too.
The Tzaangor heads are from the Tzaangor kit, life is full of surprises. This was a much better head than I expected. I thought it was just a single head that was screeching, but it turned out to be a double head that was splitting.
That’s all, really. It’s a pretty simple kitbash without too many different kits and pieces.
What’s next?
I’m currently working on two kitbashes. One is a Skaven Guard Battery where they are manning a massive lascannon. Another one is a space marine, Tyranid infected Kill Team. Here are some work in progress pics of them.
